Tracking weekly rent changes in Western Australia

DropBee is an independent tracker of asking price changes on Australian property listings, for sale and for rent. It records each listing's first asking price and every change after that, so you can see which properties have cut their price and by how much.
An asking price drop is when the current asking price is lower than the first asking price we recorded for that listing. For example, a home listed at $1,000,000 and then advertised at $950,000 has a $50,000 (5%) asking price drop. When a seller raises the asking price, we record a price rise.
Asking price drops before an auction show how the seller feels. Each drop can show how motivated the seller is, and buyers can use that signal to make a lower bid. Tracking asking price changes shows this early, before auction day. When a property is sold, its asking price stops changing. Sold prices help you compare properties after the sale, but they do not help you find chances in real time. DropBee focuses on the window where prices still change, so you can act before the property is sold.
Not always. It could reflect a genuine price reduction, a strategy shift, or simply correcting an overpriced listing. But it still reveals something useful about the seller's mindset: the property hasn't attracted enough interest, the seller is becoming more motivated, or the initial price was too ambitious. In any case, it's a signal there may be room to negotiate.
From publicly available listings. DropBee is not a real estate agency and does not sell property.
We check listings every day. A price change usually appears on DropBee within a day.
A relisted property was taken off the market and then advertised again. It often comes back with a different price, and DropBee keeps its earlier price history. DOM means days on market: the number of days since the property was first advertised.
